Anuschka von Oppen

is a dancer and choreographer, born and raised in Los Angeles, based in Berlin. She works across dance, theater, music and visual art and collaborates internationally with a diverse range of dancers, actors, choreographers, directors, musicians and artists. She conceives performances for the stage and exhibitions for multiple contexts, using the tool of movement and the parameters of theater to explore the relationship between the human and the animal, within our social fabric. She employs the body and earth as subjects to interrogate elements of culture, and the ambiguous. 

Her work is known for journeying through an assemblage of intense physicality, choreographed sensations, and dynamic energy that tread hybridized figures and worlds.
