Set in a white box gallery space, Anuschka von Oppen uses her body as a primary tool to traverse the parameters of the bare, four-walled space. Seemingly enclosed, spacial limitation push at the boundaries of visual and physical borders. Interrogating themes of rebirth, ritual and collective memories, she employs the body to transform, allowing for an unfolding world to emerge.
